El Presidente Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I love what 99call posted below. It just brings a smile to my face and a twinge of regret in regard to heritage lost. Still, If you had the opportunity to blend and name a cigar after yourself, what would it be? a little inspiration below. 3
99call Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Simply..."Solitude." Quai D'Orsay. Fundy sized...tubos...orange rind, cream, toasted oats, anise, cedar...perfect. 4
MrBirdman Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 @El Presidente, can you please clarify - are you asking about what brand name we’d choose, or a vitola/name for the cigar itself?

Ford2112 Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 The Partagas Ford 2112. Churchill size. No bands. 50 cab. 3
SirVantes Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Juan Lopez SirVantes. A lonsdale (cervantes, obviously), 8-9-8 unvarnished box. 3
Li Bai Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Bolivar Innuendo. 191mm 38 rg, 50 cab, unbanded. 4
RDB Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 The long skinny Partagas has already been taken, but that’s definitely the one for me.
BrightonCorgi Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 I'd go for a Fonseca Gran Corona "A" (with tissue of course) and name it the Fonseca Pembroke 2

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted August 8, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 8, 2024 I've always thought both H. Upmann and La Gloria Cubana would be great nightcap cigars due to their relaxing flavour profile. So: H. Upmann Connoisseur K (Dalias; 43RG x 170mm; Lonsdale; Varnished 8-9-8 box of 25 cigars): The blend will be a traditional smooth woody and leathery H. Upmann experience like Connie A, however with the intensity of skinny cigars. A perfect lengthy medium nightcap CC. La Gloria Cubana Esparcimientos (Coronas; 42RG x 140mm; Corona; Slide lid box of 50 cigars): The blend will be same as Medaille d'Or No. 4, one of my favourite classic skinny CCs, but in a Corona format. An ideal standard sized light-medium nightcap CC while I still can enjoy the aroma of LGC's signature floral and herbal notes. 7

Thanks, @Chibearsv! I've always wished that there would be an 8-9-8 Lonsdale in H. Upmann catalog, since it will be an intense traditional H. Upmann experience 😃. I also would definitely be happy if I could have an 898 Upmann 😁 1
